Chantal Y. Milcarek, M.Ed., LPES

Chantal Milcarek is a licensed psycho-educational specialist and South Carolina Board of Education certified level II school psychologist. She holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from Sweet Briar College and a graduate degree in educational psychology from the University of Virginia. Her experience includes working as a certified school psychologist in Virginia, New York and South Carolina, and she has served as a director of special education for the Springs School District in East Hampton, New York. Chantal founded Sprouting Minds in 2011 with the belief that her understanding of learning differences, specialization in assessment and knowledge of special education policies could benefit students who are struggling academically.  She feels strongly that with the right support, every child has the ability to succeed.

Dr. Andrew Mantini is a psychologist licensed in South Carolina and Georgia.  He holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from Sewanee: The University of the South, a master’s degree in community counseling from the University of Georgia and a PhD degree in counseling psychology from the University of Georgia.  Dr. Mantini’s experience includes an American Psychological Association approved internship at the Medical College of Georgia/Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia and a postdoctoral fellowship at Sandy Springs Psychological Center in Atlanta, Georgia.  Prior to joining Sprouting Minds in 2016, he practiced with Sandy Springs Psychological Center.  Dr. Mantini offers  psychological testing services for children, adolescents and young adults as well as individual and family therapy.
