Chantal Y. Milcarek, M.Ed., LPES

Chantal Milcarek is a Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist and South Carolina Board of Education certified Level II School Psychologist. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Sweet Briar College and a graduate degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Virginia. Her experience includes working as a certified School Psychologist in Virginia, New York and South Carolina, and she has also served as a director of Special Education for the Springs School District in East Hampton, New York. Chantal founded Sprouting Minds in 2011 with the belief that her understanding of learning differences, expertise in assessment, and knowledge of Special Education policies could benefit students who are struggling in school. She feels strongly that with the right support, every child has the ability to meet his or her full potential.

Dr. Andrew Mantini is a South Carolina Licensed Psychologist, who holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Sewanee: The University of the South, a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of Georgia, and a Ph.D. degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia. He has also been licensed in the state of Georgia to practice psychology. Dr. Mantini’s experience includes an APA (American Psychological Association) approved internship at the Medical College of Georgia/Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia and a postdoctoral fellowship at Sandy Springs Psychological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. After becoming a licensed psychologist in Georgia in 2014, he practiced with Sandy Springs Psychological Center, where he provided psychological evaluation and therapy services. Dr. Mantini began practicing with Sprouting Minds in 2016, where he provides psychological services to children, adolescents, and families. In addition to providing comprehensive psychoeducational testing to identify learning, processing, attention, and social-emotional issues for children and adolescents, he also offers individual and family therapy services ranging from treatment for anxiety/depression to improving executive functioning skills.
