Chantal Y. Milcarek, M.Ed., LPES

Chantal Milcarek is a Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist and South Carolina Board of Education Level II School Psychologist. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Sweet Briar College and her master’s degree in educational psychology from the University of Virginia. Her professional experience includes serving as a school psychologist in Virginia, New York, and South Carolina, as well as Director of Special Education for the Springs School District in East Hampton, New York.

Chantal founded Sprouting Minds in 2011 with the belief that a thoughtful, comprehensive understanding of a student’s unique learning profile can make a meaningful difference in both academic success and overall confidence. Drawing upon her expertise in psychoeducational assessment, learning differences, and special education, she works closely with families to identify each individual’s strengths and challenges and provide practical recommendations for moving forward. Chantal believes that with the right understanding and appropriate support, every student has the ability to succeed.

Dr. Andrew Mantini is a South Carolina Licensed Psychologist. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Sewanee: The University of the South and both his master’s degree in community counseling and doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Georgia. His professional training includes an APA-approved internship at the Medical College of Georgia/Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Sandy Springs Psychological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. After becoming a licensed psychologist in Georgia, he continued his practice at Sandy Springs Psychological Center.

Dr. Mantini joined Sprouting Minds in 2016, where he provides comprehensive psychoeducational and psychological evaluations, as well as individual therapy, for children, adolescents, and adults. Through both assessment and therapy, he helps individuals and families gain a clearer understanding of learning, attention, emotional, and behavioral concerns while providing individualized recommendations and support to promote success across home, school, and daily life.
